NavigationNavigation around our site is facilitated by the drop-down 'javascript' menus that appear on the top banner of each page. You can simply click on the buttons; 'Product Catalogue' through to 'Logon', to access their respective index pages and the drop-down menu simply allows you quicker access to all the pages within that category. Some menu items have sub-menus. For example, Viscoform on the Product Catalogue menu has a subform which gives you access to the array of Viscoform patterns on offer. Other general navigation is acheived by using 'hyperlinks' within each of the pages in order to cross-reference other pages in the site, or indeed other external websites. A standard hyperlink looks like this: Click Here At the bottom of each page there is also a link to our 'Site Map'. From there you can browse through the whole site and click to access any page you wish. If you encounter any links that are failing or pages that are not work properly in any way, please inform us on the email address at the top of the page or through our enquiry form under 'Contacting Us' so that we can rectify any problems as soon as possible. |
Logging OnWe are providing a 'log on' service to our website so that in the future we can give a more 'custom-made' look and feel to each of our individual customers. Once logged on, we intend to provide you with secure account information and even an individual order status, that way, you will know exactly how far the product or service you have ordered has travelled in the manufacture process and precisely when you are likely to receive it. If you register with Attenborough.com you can have the option of receiving email updates from us. We can then keep you up to date with our latest products and services, offers and prices. Technical InformationAttenborough.com has been created using Macromedia Dreamweaver
templates and javascript menus. The initial 'splash' page uses the
Macromedia Flash plugin which may need to be downloaded if not already
installed on your PC. Active Server Pages have been used for scripting
purposes including the search page, the logon and online forms.
The FutureUsing the latest internet technology, we shall be transforming Attenborough.com to a dynamic e-commerce enabled website to compliment the excellent catalogue of dental laboratory knowledge that already exists.
